The water.............

John 4:14
but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Have you ever sat back and thought about the significance of water in your life? What would happen to our bodies without water? What would happen to the Earth without water? Water cover 70% of the Earth that's more than half of the Earth. Our bodies are made up of water as well, the content of water depends on our ages and they are roughly; Babies: 78%, One year of age: 65%, Adult Men: 60%, Adult Women: 55%. As you can see even our bodies are made up mostly of water. Water is very important to us and it is safe to say without it we would die.

What about the waters talked about in the word of God. We know in Genesis God created the waters and He also destroyed the Earth with water. However the water that I am talking about are the "rivers of living waters". The Bible talks about these waters a few time. It also says that John 4:14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” Can you imagine never thirsting again? Now Jesus is talking about more than a physical thirst He speaks of a spiritual thirst. He is the River of living waters and if we drink of Him we will never thirst again.

Have you ever been so thirsty that as you began to drink you could feel the water travel through your body and even feel it swish in your belly. Well imagine drinking of the living water. Being full of the word drinking of the living water, consuming Jesus do you even understand what that could do in your life. Are you thirsty today? I implore you, I challenge you to drink of the water that Jesus wants to give us.

John 7:38
He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

Could you imagine "rivers of living waters flowing from your heart? That means that everyone coming across your path you are offering them a drink. You are offering them a drink that will quench their thirst like no other drink has ever done. Could you just imagine what you would exude if from your heart flowed rivers of living waters/ The word says that flowing from our hearts are the issues of life, but if we believe in Jesus there are no issue flowing from our hearts because we have given them to Jesus.

Psalm 1:3
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

A tree planted by LIVING waters that shall not wither and will always prosper. That tree is you. Have you ever noticed that the most beautiful trees live on the water fronts. they have the greenest leaves they grow the tallest and they seem to live forever why is that.

Jeremiah 17:8
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Those trees live so long because they have strong deep roots. The water has strengthened them and made the much stronger then the land side trees because they never thirst. This is how God wants us to be like trees planted by living waters. he wants us to not only bear fruit in our season but to continuously bear fruit. his word says we will not cease from yielding fruit. Meaning we will bear fruit until the day we die.

If you thirst drink of the water provided by Jesus. Let it be your desire to never thirst again. my prayer is that we become Tress planted by living waters. Those trees are not easily moved or shaken and can not be chopped down easily. make it your prayer and desire to drink of the water of the word of God and never thirst again.
Lastly I want to leave you with this, think about what water does for you when you are stressed. When you ache, when you are frustrated I know for me a hot bath or shower always renews me. it refreshes me and it make me feel alive all over again. Imagine if the water you bathed in was the water that Jesus speaks of. So the next time you are soaking away your troubles in the water. Use the water of the word to feed your spirit so that your period of relaxation is not just for the moment but so that you are relaxing you physical body and quenching the thirst in your spirit.

Tired of being tested

I have a song in my spirit and before I get started I just wanted to share the words with you.

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be the name of the Lord most high

Amen that was just in my spirit

A Heavenly Inheritance 1 Peter 1:1-7

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,

This passage was in my heart today because I have truly been going through some things. I am trying to go through then with joy because it seems for every blessing and for every right thing that happens here comes a ton of trials. God's has a plan and in everything He does or allows to happen He is trying to work out something in us. God is trying to make us His best, He is trying to make us all that we can be for His plans and purposes.

You know sometimes as "people" we say things like I am only human, how much more can I take. In that same breath we say I know God is not going to put more on me than I can bear. So why is it that when we go through we question it and we question God. God's word said we should be tried as gold in the fire. Don't get me wrong God values us a whole lot more than Gold but we have to think about Gold itself. Gold is the only metal that is pliable, it is the only metal that can be bent molded and shaped. Gold is the softest medal there is. Gold is just like what God wants our hearts to be like,

Now think about how God wants to mold and shape us. His word says in Isaiah 64:8
But now, O LORD, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.
God shapes and molds us into who He would have us to be. Another amazing thing about gold is it's atomic number is 79. Though 79 does not have a true Biblical meaning the numbers 7 and 9 does.

I am going to show you this the way God showed it to me. The number 7 is the number of completion for man. The Number 9 approval, entire and solid. The number is the symbol that is used in reference to the (cube). This number is also used when describing the Trinity or the Godhead (divine perfection). This number has also been associated with spirit and life. Divine perfection is perfection in God. By our trials we are being tested as pure gold 7 and 9 to be made complete as men and ultimately being made divinely perfect in God. No being tested is not easy but just try and think about the end result.

I leave you with this the NLT translation I thought it was beautiful and I pray it blesses you as it has blessed me. I pray it bring clearer understanding of why you are being tested, and the promise God has for you if you remain faithful to Him.

1 Peter 1:3-7 (New Living Translation)

The Hope of Eternal Life
3 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation, 4 and we have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see.
6 So be truly glad.[b] There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. 7 These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

Count it all Joy ............. But how????

James 1: 2-8
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Even though the world tells us to be joyful and to bless the Lord at all times how easy is that really? We are supposed to have the Spirit of God so we should be able to live according to Matthew 11: 28-30 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

If we are to learn from Jesus then why is it that the things He found so easy to do are virtually impossible for us to do. No matter what the situation Jesus still counted it all joy. Even when He was on the cross He still blessed the Lord. He was faithful to the very end. Some of us don't even realize He gave His life it wasn't taken. Jesus came in the form of flesh so just like us He had free will but He was so submissive, so obedient that He died for what He believed in. How many of us are that passionate about the Gospel (Selah)

For us it is so hard to count it all joy, it seems like when one things happens everything begins to fall apart. Is there a reason for this God promised us rest right? Verse 28 says it if we labor and are heavy laden He will give us rest. The part we fail to zero in on is where He says take MY yoke upon you and learn of me. See our burdens are so heavy because even though we think we walk after the spirit we are in truth walking after the flesh. Now I know some of you are think I know I walk after the spirit, but how quickly we forget.

Think about the last time you had a bad week, not a bad day but week maybe even month. Everything that could go wrong did, and even though you got some major things accomplished you can't see the forest for the trees. You just feel defeated "man if I woulda did this, I shoulda did that, I can't do this." News flash you can't go back and do anything over, but what you can do is go back and right them wrongs. We will make mistakes and thank God for grace but always remember James said we fall into diverse situations. Christians fall into sin we DO NOT sin intentionally again we fall into sin. What does the word have to say about that fall?

The word tells us to count it all joy. Now there are some of us who will try and be sarcastic oh I just lost my car Thank You Jesus and not mean it but truly count it all joy. This means God is trying to work something out in you this mean God has found you faithful enough to know that He can put you through some things and you won't turn your back on Him. So saints of the most high God COUNT IT ALL JOY.....Shout unto the Lord with a voice of triumph because God says you are more than a conqueror.........

So today I leave you with this

Romans 8:36-39
36 As it is written:

“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord
.

Be blessed saints, I pray this word fall on good ground and produces fruit in your life. May the grace of our Lord the communion of the Holy Spirit and the love of God be with you all.
